Volvo Cars Models in India

Volvo Cars, now a part of the Ford Motor Company, was originally a subsidiary company of SKF, a ball bearing manufacture. The name Volvo actually translates in Latin to “I roll”, a clear illustration of the company’s early involvement in the ball bearing making business. Volvo, founded in 1927 in Sweden, became an independent from SKF when the company was floated on the stock exchange market in Sweden. 1999 saw Volvo Cars bought by Ford Motor Company, previously being owned by AB Volvo.
